Why Choose UCH School of Nursing?
UCH School of Nursing’s fees (₦250,000–₦300,000 for new students) are affordable for a federal nursing program, covering tuition, hostel, and uniforms, unlike private schools (₦500,000–₦1,500,000). The program’s practical training, backed by UCH’s status as Nigeria’s first teaching hospital (established 1957), prepares nurses for real-world healthcare challenges.
Over 4,513 nurses have graduated since inception, with facilities like science labs and a CBT center for exams enhancing learning. However, the no-installment policy burdens low-income families (Nigeria’s minimum wage: ₦30,000/month), and hidden costs like external accommodation (₦120,000) add financial strain.
Transparency issues persist, as fee ranges vary across sources (₦150,000–₦250,000 in prior years), suggesting potential unlisted charges. Share your budgeting tips or questions in the comments, and follow us for more updates!
