Important Things Every Candidate Must Know

Regarding Timing

Morning papers begin at 9:30am — arrive at your exam centre by 8:30am at the latest. Afternoon papers begin at 2:00pm — do not leave your centre between sessions if you have two papers on the same day. Visual Art papers run into the evening (up to 6:30pm), so plan your transport accordingly.

Regarding Practical Papers

Chemistry 3 has two alternatives: ALT A on 20th May and ALT B on 9th June. Physics 3 similarly has ALT A on 15th June and ALT B on 18th June. Your school will confirm which group you belong to. PE, French Oral, and some Food & Nutrition practicals have dates still to be communicated by WAEC — check with your school regularly.

General Rules

  • Bring your WAEC ID card and exam slip to every sitting.
  • No electronic devices (phones, smartwatches) inside the exam hall.
  • Report any irregularities to your supervisor immediately.

Tips to Prepare With This Timetable

  1. Print this timetable and paste it where you can see it daily.
  2. Identify clash days — some dates have both morning and afternoon papers. Eat well and rest between sessions.
  3. Prioritise core subjects — English (10th June) and Maths (3rd June) must receive the most revision time.
  4. Start practicals early — Chemistry, Biology, and Physics practicals require lab preparation. Don’t neglect them.
  5. Use the gap weeks wisely — the break between late May and early June is your last major revision window.
