Try a broader course name or clear the university filter. A missing result here does not mean that a course is unavailable.
See how to check another institution in the JAMB brochure →READ THE RIGHT COLUMN
Three checks before you choose.
Your four UTME subjects
Use of English is one of the four. Read alternatives carefully: “Chemistry or Biology” means a permitted choice in that particular entry. It does not create a rule for another school.
Your O’level result
Count the required credits separately. Further Mathematics or Literature in English may be an O’level condition even when a UTME column gives you a different choice.
Your institution’s conditions
Check the exact programme name, sitting limits and source year. A correct combination does not by itself confirm admission, a cut-off mark or a screening deadline.
A DIFFERENCE WORTH NOTICING
Computer Science is a good example.
In the documents reviewed, UI lists Chemistry with Use of English, Mathematics and Physics. UNILAG’s 2025/26 entry permits Chemistry or Biology, and separately requires Further Mathematics at O’level.
Use the finder to read the complete entries and their source years before applying either rule.
Your registration cross-check
- Write down the exact course and institution you intend to select.
- Check the current JAMB brochure entry and the institution’s admission notice.
- List all four UTME subjects, including Use of English.
- Check every required O’level credit, grade and permitted sitting arrangement.
- Repeat the checks for your alternative course or institution.
- Resolve any conflicting requirement with JAMB or the institution before registration.
Already registered with a possible mismatch? Ask JAMB or an accredited CBT centre about the options available for your actual examination cycle. A course change does not change the subjects you have already sat.
COMMON QUESTIONS
A little more clarity.
Does this cover every course and university?
This edition contains 57 selected course entries for UI and UNILAG. Each card names its institution and source year. Use the JAMB brochure for other institutions, polytechnic ND programmes and colleges of education.
Can I use these entries for JAMB 2027?
Use them to plan questions and compare requirements. Before registering, check the current official entry for your intended 2027 programme and institution. The source year shown on each card is not a claim that a 2027 rule has been confirmed.
Are UTME subjects and O’level credits the same thing?
They are separate admission checks. Your UTME combination has four subjects. Your O’level result must also satisfy the programme’s required credits and sitting limits. Read both columns.
Is Literature in English always a compulsory UTME subject for Law?
Use the institution’s own entry. In the documents reviewed here, both Law entries explicitly require Literature in English at O’level, while their UTME columns give different permitted selections. Open the relevant card and check the latest official version.
Can I change my subjects after registration?
Do not assume that a correction service or window is available. Ask JAMB or an accredited CBT centre about the current procedure for your examination cycle. Course changes and UTME subject corrections are different requests.
What if my course is missing from the finder?
Search for the programme in JAMB’s brochure and the institution’s own admission information. Coverage here is limited to the entries reviewed. A missing CampusNinja card says nothing about the course’s approval or availability.
Sources and review notes
We checked the UTME and O’level columns separately and kept the institutions’ source years visible. The PDF page references on the cards let you find the underlying entry. This finder covers UTME admission; check Direct Entry qualifications separately.
Read UNILAG’s official admission requirements (PDF) ↗
The earlier source year is intentional. Reconfirm later-cycle requirements before registering.
For a current institution and programme lookup, use JAMB’s official IBASS brochure ↗. If its document viewer does not load, consult the institution’s official admission office or JAMB for clarification.
