Eligibility varies by program level:
- PhD:
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 60% average or CGPA of 3.5/5.0 from a recognized institution.
- Candidates with 55%–59.99% or CGPA 3.00–3.49 may apply for MPhil/PhD.
- Below 55% or CGPA 3.0, candidates are ineligible for PhD or MPhil/PhD and should consider a Master’s program.
- Master’s (M.Sc., M.A., MBA, MPA):
- Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Lower (2:2) from a recognized university.
- For MBA/MPA, relevant professional experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGD):
- HND (Upper or Lower Credit), Third Class Bachelor’s degree, or candidates switching to a new field.
- Five O’Level credits in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.
- General Requirements:
- All applicants must meet departmental O’Level requirements.
