Eligibility Criteria
To apply for GVU’s 2025/2026 programs:
- UTME Applicants:
- Five O’Level credits in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.
- Minimum UTME score of 180 (based on 2024/2025 cutoff).
- GVU must be your first or second choice in JAMB.
- Direct Entry Applicants:
- A-Level, OND, HND, NCE, IJMB, or JUPEB with at least a merit pass or lower credit.
- Five O’Level credits as above.
- Transfer/Conversion Applicants:
- Meet O’Level requirements and provide current university transcripts.
Candidates awaiting O’Level results may apply but must upload results before admission closes.

- Visit gvu.edu.ng and click “Generate Admission Access Pin/Serial Code.”
- Create an account using your JAMB registration number and email.
- Pay the ₦6,000 application fee via Remita or bank transfer.
- Complete the online form with personal and academic details.
- Upload scanned copies of O’Level results, JAMB result, and DE/transfer credentials (if applicable).
- Submit the form and save your Applicant ID to check admission status.
Didn’t choose GVU? Apply for a Change of Institution through JAMB, then complete the GVU online application.
