ADUSTECH Courses and Admission Requirements 2026/2027

Make this easier to read

ADUSTECH offers undergraduate courses in engineering, computing, agriculture, sciences, environmental studies and education. They include Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Science Laboratory Technology.

For 2026/2027 screening, Computer Science requires 170 in UTME, while Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Microbiology and Science Laboratory Technology require 160. The other programmes listed in the screening notice require 150.

Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, was formerly Kano University of Science and Technology. Applicants may therefore encounter the name KUST in older admission documents.

ADUSTECH UTME Requirements for 2026/2027

The university’s 2026/2027 screening notice reproduced by Myschool requires UTME applicants to select ADUSTECH as their first-choice institution and meet the score for their chosen programme.

ProgrammeMinimum UTME screening score
Computer Science170
Architecture160
Civil Engineering160
Electrical Engineering160
Microbiology160
Science Laboratory Technology160
Other programmes listed in the 2026/2027 screening notice150

These are screening eligibility scores. Meeting the score does not replace the O’Level and subject requirements for your course or guarantee an admission offer.

The screening notice also requires applicants to upload their O’Level results and JAMB result slip, complete the online application and print their acknowledgement slip.

O’Level Requirements and JAMB Subject Combinations

Applicants need relevant O’Level credits for their chosen course. The subjects accepted for one programme should not be automatically applied to another: Computer Science, Biochemistry, Architecture and education courses have different subject requirements.

A complete course-by-course O’Level and UTME subject table could not be confirmed from the university’s public catalogue. Its programme pages contain a “UTME Requirements” heading without the accompanying subject details.

Use JAMB IBASS to check the requirements for your exact programme and institution. Pay attention to:

  • The required O’Level subjects and grades.
  • The permitted number of sittings.
  • The three UTME subjects to take alongside Use of English.
  • Any institution-specific conditions or waivers.

Where an older brochure uses Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil or KUST, it refers to the university now known as ADUSTECH.

Upload Your O’Level Results to JAMB

Uploading results on the university portal does not replace uploading them to JAMB CAPS.

The screening notice directs candidates to a JAMB office or accredited CBT centre to upload their WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent results. It states that only candidates who have completed this upload can be recommended to JAMB for approval.

ADUSTECH Direct Entry Requirements

ADUSTECH’s 2026/2027 screening exercise covers Direct Entry applicants. These candidates must upload their Direct Entry qualification in place of the UTME result slip, alongside their O’Level results.

However, the screening notice does not give a complete programme-by-programme list of accepted qualifications, grades or A’Level points. It does not establish one universal ND, HND, NCE or IJMB requirement for every department.

Before applying through Direct Entry, check the relevant ADUSTECH entry in JAMB IBASS for:

  1. Whether your qualification is accepted for the course.
  2. The required grade or points.
  3. The acceptable subject or diploma discipline.
  4. The accompanying O’Level requirements.

Screening Dates and Application Portal

The published 2026/2027 screening registration window was 27 July to 29 August 2026, with a ₦2,000 screening fee. Those dates have passed; the notice should not be treated as an announcement that registration is currently open.

The university’s official login page directs Post-UTME candidates to use their JAMB registration number as both username and password.

Applicants already offered admission should follow the university’s admission instructions, including accepting the offer on JAMB and completing the acceptance-fee process.

Are Computer Science and Computer Science Education the Same Course?

No. ADUSTECH lists Computer Science under Computing and Mathematical Science, while Computer Science Education belongs to Science and Technology Education.

The same distinction applies to courses such as Biology and Biology Education, or Building Technology and Building Technology Education. Select the exact degree you intend to study when checking requirements or completing your application.

Does ADUSTECH Offer Nursing, Medicine or Law?

Nursing Science, Medicine and Surgery, and Law do not appear in the official undergraduate catalogue reviewed for this guide. The listed science courses include Biochemistry, Microbiology and Science Laboratory Technology; these are separate degree programmes.
