Admission lists are released in stages. A school may publish a merit list, supplementary list, Direct Entry list or a separate list for a particular programme. Check the exact route and batch in the table, then confirm your personal status on the official school portal and, for JAMB admission, on JAMB e-Facility/CAPS.

How to check your admission status
- Open the official school notice or admission portal linked in the table. Follow the instructions for your programme and batch.
- Check JAMB CAPS at efacility.jamb.gov.ng if you applied through UTME or Direct Entry. Sign in with your JAMB profile details and select the admission-status option.
- If CAPS shows an offer, read the course and institution carefully before accepting it. Follow the school’s stated acceptance, screening and registration steps.
- Check both portals again if one says “not admitted” or does not yet show the offer. A school’s list and CAPS may not update at the same time.
What if my school is not listed?
This table is a verified tracker, not a complete list of every institution in Nigeria. We add an institution when we can match its session and programme to an official notice or portal. Check your school’s own admissions page and JAMB CAPS, and return here for later verified batches. A school not appearing here is not proof that its list is unavailable. If you do not see your name in a released batch, it does not by itself mean that you have been rejected. Some institutions publish more than one batch. Keep checking the official portal, make sure your application details and O’Level information are correct, and follow any deadline stated in the school’s own notice.
What to do after admission is offered
First confirm the offer on the relevant official portal. If the offer is through JAMB, accept it on CAPS when the details are correct. Then follow the institution’s instructions for acceptance fees, screening, document upload and registration. Do not pay an agent who promises to add your name to an admission list; use only payment instructions published by the institution.

Frequently asked questions
Does “admission list released” mean every applicant has received a decision?
No. A list may cover only one batch, programme or admission route. Schools can release further lists later, and a candidate’s status may take time to appear on both the school portal and JAMB CAPS.
Why is a school missing from the tracker?
We add schools after checking a current official source. Some notices are difficult to verify or do not clearly identify the session or programme, so we leave them out until those details are confirmed.
Is a school’s admission list the same as JAMB CAPS admission?
They are related but not always updated at the same time. Check the school portal and CAPS, then follow the institution’s instructions if the two do not yet match.
How often is this article updated?
We update this same article when we verify a new school or a material new batch. The date above refers to the latest verification pass; the original article date remains part of its publication history.
