The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has released its foreign candidates admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. Applicants can check their names, registration numbers and admitted courses in the official PDF published by the university. The offers are for provisional admission into undergraduate degree programmes.
How to Check the UNN Foreign Candidates Admission List
- Open the official UNN foreign candidates admission list PDF.
- Search for your name or JAMB registration number.
- Confirm the course listed against your details.
On a phone, use the search icon or “Find” option in your PDF reader. Search with your registration number first to avoid confusing your entry with a similar name.
The four-page document contains the admission list and acceptance instructions. Although subsequent pages carry a “Primary Admission List” header, the document’s opening title identifies it as the 2026/2027 Foreign Candidates’ Admission List, and UNN links it from the foreign candidates notice.
What to Do After Finding Your Name
Ensure your O’Level results are correctly uploaded to JAMB CAPS. The university states that admission processing depends on this upload, and that candidates are properly admitted only when they have a JAMB admission letter and UNN registration number.
Accept your offer on JAMB CAPS. UNN says candidates who do not accept will not receive JAMB admission letters and will be treated as not admitted.
UNN Acceptance Fee for 2026/2027
The official foreign candidates admission notice specifies these acceptance fees:
| Programme category | Acceptance fee |
|---|---|
| Non-regulated programmes | ₦50,000 |
| Medicine, Law, Pharmacy, Nursing and Dentistry | ₦100,000 |
How to Complete Your Acceptance
- Visit the UNN website and open its portal link.
- Log in with your JAMB registration number and generate a payment invoice containing a Remita number.
- Pay the applicable fee at a commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank. Obtain a confirmation slip showing your confirmation and invoice numbers.
- Return to the portal with your JAMB registration number and payment details. Print your admission slip and complete the online acceptance form.
- Proceed with other payments and registration as directed by UNN.
The offer remains provisional. UNN may withdraw admission if a candidate fails to meet the university, faculty or departmental entry requirements, even if discovered in the final year.
