UNIJOS JAMB Cut-Off Mark for 2026/2027
The general JAMB cut-off mark for the University of Jos is projected to be 180 for the 2026/2027 academic session, based on trends from 2026/2027 and JAMB’s minimum benchmark for federal universities. This means candidates scoring 180 or above in the JAMB UTME are eligible to apply for UNIJOS’s Post UTME screening. However, competitive courses like Medicine, Law, and Pharmacy often demand higher scores due to limited slots and high applicant numbers.
Key Requirements:
- JAMB Score: Minimum of 180, with UNIJOS as your first choice.
- O’Level Results: At least five credits (including English and Mathematics) in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, in no more than two sittings.
- Age: Candidates must be at least 16 years old by the time of application.
- Supplementary Forms: Candidates below departmental cut-offs may apply for less competitive courses via supplementary admission.
Note: Always check www.unijos.edu.ng for official updates, as cut-offs may vary slightly.

Aggregate Calculation:
UNIJOS calculates the aggregate score by:
- Dividing your JAMB score by 8 (e.g., 240 ÷ 8 = 30).
- Dividing your Post UTME score by 2 (e.g., 70 ÷ 2 = 35).
- Adding both (30 + 35 = 65).
A higher aggregate increases your chances for competitive courses like Medicine (70–75) or Law (65–70).
