How to Check the SLUK Admission List on JAMB CAPS
You will need the email address and password linked to your JAMB profile.
- Open the JAMB e-Facility portal.
- Sign in with your registered email address and password.
- Select Check Admission Status.
- Click Access my CAPS.
- Open Admission Status to view the decision.
Read the institution and course displayed carefully before responding to an offer.
If CAPS Only Shows “Welcome” on Your Phone
Open your browser menu and select Desktop site. Then reload CAPS and open the Admission Status section. This can make options hidden in the mobile view visible.
What Your Admission Status Means

How to Accept Your SLUK Admission Offer
Once an offer appears and you have confirmed that you want the course, use JAMB’s approved acceptance process.
According to JAMB’s published guidance on admission acceptance, candidates can:
- Send ACCEPT to 55019 or 66019 from the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.
- Complete acceptance through fingerprint verification at an accredited JAMB CBT centre or JAMB office.
The REJECT command declines an offer. Do not send it simply because the course differs from what you originally applied for; first decide whether you want the offered programme.
After completing acceptance, check CAPS again to confirm that your response has been recorded.
You should then print your JAMB admission letter and keep it for the university’s admission procedures.
If Your Status Still Says “Not Admitted”
Check these details before assuming something has gone wrong:
- Your O’Level results: Confirm that the correct results appear on CAPS.
- Transfer Approval: Check whether a different programme has been proposed. Read the details before responding.
- Your admission recommendation: If the university has separately notified you of admission but CAPS remains unchanged, seek clarification from its admissions office.
For a persistent technical problem, use the official JAMB support portal. Checking these items can identify an unresolved issue, but it does not guarantee admission.
Has SLUK Opened Its Acceptance Portal?
As checked on 17 October 2026, the SLUK admissions portal directory displayed “UG Admission Acceptance Closed.”
That is a separate university process from accepting an offer through JAMB. The closed label should not be treated as proof that your CAPS offer is invalid.
