Millennium-Crest University offers 15 advertised undergraduate programmes for 2026/2027, including Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Accounting and Economics.
To apply, candidates need at least 150 in the 2026 UTME and five relevant O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
The courses are grouped into three faculties: Allied and Basic Health Sciences; Science and Computing; and Arts, Management and Social Sciences.

Important distinction: the university’s background document discusses a wider range of faculties planned for its development. Those plans should not be treated as a list of courses currently accepting applicants. The 15 programmes above are the ones advertised for this admission exercise.
What Do These Courses Cover?
The explanations below describe the broad focus of each discipline. They are intended to help applicants compare courses, rather than serve as the university’s detailed curriculum.
Health Sciences and Microbiology
| Course | Broad area of study |
|---|---|
| Nursing Science | Nursing care, health promotion and support for patients |
| Medical Laboratory Science | Laboratory investigation of biological samples to support diagnosis and healthcare |
| Dental Therapy | Oral health, preventive dental care and dental therapy practice |
| Radiography and Radiological Science | Medical imaging and the scientific principles behind imaging procedures |
| Community Health Science | Health promotion, disease prevention and healthcare needs within communities |
| Microbiology | Microorganisms and their roles in health, industry and the environment |
Microbiology and Medical Laboratory Science are different degrees. A student interested in one should not choose the other on the assumption that they lead to identical professional qualifications.
Similarly, Dental Therapy is a distinct programme. It should not be confused with Dentistry or Dental Surgery.
Computing Courses
| Course | Broad area of study |
|---|---|
| Computer Science | Computing principles, algorithms, programming and computer systems |
| Information Technology | The use and management of technology to meet organisational needs |
| Software Engineering | Designing, developing, testing and maintaining software |
| Cybersecurity | Protecting systems, networks and information from security threats |
These courses overlap, but their emphasis differs. Software Engineering focuses on building and maintaining software, while Cybersecurity focuses on protecting digital systems and information.
Students should compare the university’s actual course modules before making a final choice.
Arts, Management and Social Sciences
| Course | Broad area of study |
|---|---|
| Accounting | Financial records, reporting and accountability |
| Social Work | Supporting individuals, families and communities facing social difficulties |
| English Language and Literature | Language, communication and the study of literary works |
| International Relations | Relations between countries, diplomacy and international affairs |
| Economics | How people, businesses and governments make decisions about limited resources |
Choose a programme based on both your interests and your academic qualifications. A course that sounds appealing may still require subjects you did not take.
General Admission Requirements for 2026/2027
The university’s admission advert states the following requirements:
| Requirement | Published condition |
|---|---|
| UTME score | At least 150 |
| UTME year | 2026 |
| O’Level credits | At least five relevant credit passes |
| English Language | Credit pass required |
| Mathematics | Credit pass required |
| Other subjects | Must be relevant to the intended programme |
| Number of sittings | Not more than two |
| Institution choice | Select Millennium-Crest University as first choice through JAMB |
A score of 150 meets the advertised general UTME minimum. It does not guarantee an offer or establish that every applicant is eligible for every programme.
The required O’Level subjects and UTME combination still matter.
O’Level Requirements: What Does “Five Relevant Credits” Mean?
The requirement is not simply five credits in any subjects.
English Language and Mathematics are explicitly named in the university’s advert. The remaining subjects must be relevant to the course you want to study.
For example, having five credits overall does not establish eligibility if those credits do not include the subjects required for your chosen programme.
The public materials reviewed do not provide a complete course-by-course O’Level table. Before applying, obtain confirmation of:
- The exact five subjects required for your course.
- Which examination qualifications the programme accepts.
- Whether your particular combination of results is acceptable.
- Any programme-specific conditions beyond the general admission notice.
The advert permits up to two sittings, but it does not explain every possible combination of examination bodies or results.
JAMB Subject Combinations for Millennium-Crest University
A correct UTME score and a correct UTME subject combination are separate requirements.
The admission advert states the minimum score but does not list the four UTME subjects for each programme. The public application page reviewed also does not provide that subject table.
Applicants should verify their combination against the current JAMB requirements for the institution and course, and seek clarification from the university where necessary.
When making an enquiry, provide:
- Your intended course.
- The four subjects you took in UTME.
- Your UTME score.
- Your O’Level subjects and grades.
- The number of sittings used.
This gives the admissions team enough information to assess your question. Asking only whether the university accepts 150 will not resolve a subject-combination problem.
Nursing Science: An Important Application-Portal Check
Nursing Science appears in the university’s admission advert and on its homepage.
However, when CampusNinja checked the public application form on 19 October 2026, Nursing Science was not among the selectable programmes. The other 14 advertised courses were displayed.
This difference does not, by itself, establish that Nursing has been cancelled or that applications have closed. It means applicants need clarification about the correct application route and current availability.
Do not select a different programme simply to submit a Nursing application. Contact the university first.
Are There Separate Departmental Cut-Off Marks?
The admission advert reviewed gives a general minimum of 150. It does not publish a separate departmental cut-off table.
There is therefore no confirmed basis in that notice for assigning higher or lower marks to individual courses.
Applicants should distinguish between:
- General eligibility: meeting the advertised minimum to apply.
- Programme eligibility: meeting the subject and other conditions for a particular course.
- Admission offer: being selected after the university’s admission process.
Meeting the first condition alone does not establish the other two.
Direct Entry Requirements
The current public materials reviewed do not provide a programme-by-programme Direct Entry requirements table.
They do not establish which courses accept qualifications such as ND, HND, NCE, IJMB, JUPEB or other advanced qualifications, or the grades and entry levels that would apply.
If you intend to apply through Direct Entry, confirm:
- Whether your chosen programme is accepting Direct Entry applicants for 2026/2027.
- Whether your exact qualification is accepted.
- The required grade or classification.
- The O’Level conditions you must still meet.
- The approved application route and entry level.
Do not assume that a qualification accepted by another university will automatically be accepted here.
Programme Approval and Professional Recognition
The university’s website presents the 15 courses under the heading “NUC Approved Programmes”.
That is the university’s published description. It should not be expanded into an unsupported claim that every programme has full accreditation from every relevant professional regulator.
For a professional health course, ask for confirmation of the programme’s current regulatory status and the route to professional registration. A university programme listing alone does not answer every professional-recognition question.
Does Millennium-Crest University Offer Medicine, Pharmacy or Law?
Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy and Law are not included in the 15-course admission list reviewed for 2026/2027.
The same applies to Business Administration, Mass Communication, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
Some broader academic areas appear in the university’s development plans. Their inclusion in a planning document is not confirmation that applications are currently open for them.
Where Will Students Study?
The university’s website distinguishes between:
- Permanent site: Ikare-Akoko, Ondo State.
- Take-off site: Aaye Quarters, off Oda Road, Akure, Ondo State.
Applicants should confirm the reporting location for their programme before travelling or arranging accommodation.
How to Check Your Eligibility and Apply
- Choose a course from the current advertised list.
- Check your UTME score against the 150 minimum.
- Confirm your exact O’Level and UTME subjects for that programme.
- Arrange your JAMB first-choice selection as directed in the admission advert.
- Visit the official application portal and check that your programme is available.
- Follow the university’s application and document-upload instructions.
If your course is missing from the form, or your qualifications do not clearly match the published conditions, obtain clarification before submitting.
