Last Updated on 2 months ago by Haruna Ayuba

For the 2025/2026 academic session, the Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA) has set its official JAMB cut-off mark at 160 for all courses. This means only candidates who score 160 or above in their UTME are eligible to apply for admission and participate in the Post-UTME screening.

There are no higher departmental cut-off marks; all undergraduate programs use the same benchmark. Additionally, applicants must have at least five relevant O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

  • Candidates with “awaiting results” can apply but must upload their O’Level results to JAMB CAPS before admission is finalized.

Bottom Line:
To be eligible for any course at FUTIA for the 2025/2026 session, you must score at least 160 in JAMB, have the required O’Level credits, and participate in Post-UTME screening. There are no course-specific higher cut-off marks, making the process straightforward and transparent for all applicants.
