Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) will begin registration for new and returning undergraduate students on Monday, 4 January 2027, while first-semester lectures start on Monday, 11 January 2027. The 2026/2027 academic calendar also fixes matriculation for Monday, 1 February 2027, with second-semester lectures beginning on Monday, 14 June 2027.
The calendar was issued by the university’s Directorate of Academic Planning on 2 October 2026. Although the session is labelled 2026/2027, student registration and lectures begin in January 2027.
FULOKOJA First-Semester Academic Calendar
Normal registration runs from 4 to 23 January 2027. Lectures begin during this registration period, so students should note that classes start before normal registration closes.

The Senate dates are scheduled dates for considering results. They should not be treated as guaranteed dates when individual results will appear on students’ portals.
Important Dates for New Students
New students share the 4–23 January 2027 registration window with returning students. Their lectures begin on 11 January 2027, while matriculation is scheduled for 1 February 2027.
Orientation comes later, from 15 to 17 February 2027. Fresh students should therefore not wait until orientation before attending lectures.
The calendar does not specify registration charges, late-registration penalties or individual course examination times. Students should follow separate university and departmental notices for those details.
