The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has fixed midnight on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, as the deadline for affected 2026/2027 applicants to upload their O’Level results to JAMB and validate them on the UNN admission portal. Post-UTME registration also closes on September 30.
Who Needs to Upload or Update Their Results?
The notice concerns applicants whose O’Level results are still outstanding, particularly candidates who:
- Want to replace previously uploaded WAEC results with NECO results.
- Intend to combine WAEC and NECO results.
- Registered with Awaiting Result (AR) and now have their results available.
Uploading to JAMB alone does not complete the instruction: affected applicants must also validate their results on UNN’s portal.
What Candidates Should Do Now
- Complete the JAMB upload. Visit a JAMB-approved CBT centre to upload your results or correct an outstanding upload. UNN’s published admission instructions direct candidates to use an approved centre and confirm that their results appear on CAPS.
- Complete UNN validation. Access the admission portal through the official UNN website and follow the instructions for your application.
- Review your entries. Check your examination number, subjects and grades against your result before submitting. UNN’s screening guidelines require candidates to review their details and print an acknowledgement slip.
For general application guidance, read our step-by-step guide to Post-UTME registration.
Does This Deadline Apply to Post-UTME Registration?
Yes. UNN’s latest notice gives September 30, 2026, as the closing date for Post-UTME registration too. Applicants with unfinished registration should complete it before the portal closes.
What Happens If You Do Not Upload Your Results?
UNN’s 2026/2027 screening guidelines make uploading results to both JAMB CAPS and the university portal a condition for admission consideration. An incomplete upload therefore puts your application at risk.
Do not assume another extension will be granted. Complete the outstanding steps and keep your acknowledgement or confirmation for reference.
