Eligibility Criteria

To apply for LASUED’s Post-UTME/DE screening, you must:

  • UTME Candidates:
  • Score at least 170 in the 2025 UTME and choose LASUED as your first choice.
  • Have five O’level credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, or GCE).
  • Upload O’level results to JAMB CAPS by August 24, 2025.
  • Be at least 16 years old by October 31, 2025.
  • Direct Entry Candidates:
  • Choose LASUED as your first choice in JAMB DE registration (especially NCE holders).
  • Have five O’level credits as above and submit a copy of your NCE, ND, or Diploma result to the Admissions Office.

Note: Candidates who didn’t initially choose LASUED can apply after updating their choice on the JAMB portal and bringing proof to the screening.

How to Register

Follow these steps to complete your LASUED Post-UTME/DE registration:

  1. Visit LASUED’s admission portal.
  2. Click the “2025 Post UTME Registration” link under “New Applicants.”
  3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Surname to create a profile.
  4. Pay the screening fee (₦2,000 for UTME candidates, ₦2,500 for DE candidates, excluding bank charges) via:
    • An ATM card (Visa, MasterCard, or Verve) on the portal, or
    • A Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) generated on the portal, payable at any bank or via Remita.
  5. After payment, log back in with your JAMB Registration Number and Surname.
  6. Fill all mandatory fields (personal details, O’level results, UTME details). Upload your O’level results (PDF, max 30KB) and a recent passport photo (white background, 15–100KB).
  7. Submit the form and print the Screening Slip for your records.
  8. DE Candidates: Submit a copy of your Screening Slip and NCE/ND/Diploma result to the Admissions Office (Room 7, Administrative Block, Oto/Ijanikin).

Tip: Use a stable internet connection to avoid portal errors. Double-check all entries for accuracy.

Screening Requirements

Bring the following to the Admissions Office post-screening:

  • Printed Screening Slip from the LASUED portal.
  • Original and photocopies of O’level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, etc.).
  • 2025 UTME result slip (printed from the JAMB portal).
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs (white background).
  • Payment receipt (proof of ₦2,000/₦2,500 screening fee).
  • Proof of JAMB choice change (if applicable).
  • DE Candidates: NCE, ND, or Diploma result copy.
