The Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology (FCFMT) will resume for the 2026/2027 academic session on Monday, 9 November 2026, for ND I and HND I students. Returning ND II and HND II students will resume on Monday, 23 November 2026.
The college announced the schedule on 6 October 2026, alongside instructions on registration and hostel accommodation.

Registration and Documentation
Both new and returning students should complete their registration and documentation at the Admissions Office promptly after resumption.
The announcement does not include a document checklist or registration deadline. Before travelling, ask the Admissions Office which documents, originals and photocopies you need for your level.
Hostel Accommodation for 2026/2027
FCFMT says hostel spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Students who need accommodation should make the required payments promptly.
The notice does not state the hostel fee. Confirm the current amount and availability with the college before making accommodation plans.
How to Access the FCFMT Student Portal
Students can access their accounts through the official FCFMT student portal.
The login form requires:
- Your matriculation or registration number.
- Your password.
- The security code displayed on the page.
If you have forgotten your password, the portal provides a Password Recovery option. Its recovery form asks for your matriculation or registration number, registered phone number and registered email address.
Try accessing your account before travelling so you have time to resolve any login problem. Newly admitted students who have not received their login instructions should ask the college how to activate or access their accounts.
Still Waiting for Admission? Check Your O’Level Upload
If you applied for ND admission through JAMB and are still waiting for an offer, check that your O’Level results are correctly uploaded.
In a separate notice dated 17 September 2026, FCFMT reminded applicants that uploading their WAEC, NECO or NABTEB results to the JAMB portal is compulsory for admission processing.
The college gives these steps for checking an upload:
- Log in to your JAMB eFacility account.
- Select Check Admission Status.
- Open Access my CAPS.
- Select My O’Level Result.
- Check that your subjects and grades appear correctly.
If your results have not been uploaded, the college lists a JAMB-accredited CBT centre as one available upload route. Take your original result slip or statement of results and your JAMB profile details.
The resumption announcement itself is not confirmation that an individual applicant has been admitted. Confirm your own admission status before making arrangements as a new student.
