Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Admission List 2026/2027: First Batch Released

Make this easier to read

Federal Polytechnic Damaturu has released its first-batch National Diploma (ND) admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. Admitted candidates must accept their offers and print their JAMB admission letters on or before 30 November 2026.

The notice, issued by the Office of the Registrar, covers candidates admitted through UTME. Applicants who have not been admitted are directed to upload their SSCE results to JAMB through a CBT centre so the polytechnic can process their admission.

How to Check Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Admission Status

Candidates can check their admission status through JAMB e-Facility:

  1. Sign in with the email address and password linked to your JAMB profile.
  2. Select Check Admission Status.
  3. Choose Access my CAPS.
  4. Open the admission-status section to view your offer.
  5. Check the institution and course displayed before accepting.

If you are checking the printed admission list, match your JAMB registration number as well as your name. The supplied first page contains entries for Accountancy, Agricultural Technology, Animal Health and Production Technology, and Architectural Technology; it is only part of the list.

Accept Admission and Print Your Letter by 30 November

Federal Polytechnic Damaturu requires candidates on the first-batch list to complete both actions by 30 November 2026:

  • Accept the admission offer through JAMB.
  • Print the JAMB admission letter.

Seeing your name on the polytechnic’s list does not complete these steps. Check your JAMB profile, confirm the offer and complete acceptance before printing the letter. Candidates who need assistance can visit a JAMB-accredited CBT centre.

The deadline in this notice concerns admission acceptance and printing the JAMB admission letter. It does not specify a school-fee payment or resumption deadline.

Not Yet Admitted? Check Your SSCE Result Upload

The polytechnic specifically directs applicants who have not been admitted to visit a CBT centre and upload their SSCE results to JAMB.

If you previously uploaded your results, ask the centre to confirm that they are correctly showing on your profile. An application made with awaiting results still needs the actual results uploaded for admission consideration.

Uploading your results enables the institution to assess your application; it does not automatically guarantee an offer.

Your Name Is on the List but CAPS Has Not Updated

If your name appears on the school’s list but JAMB CAPS still shows Not Admitted or Admission in Progress, check that your O’Level results are uploaded and review the Transfer Approval section for any proposed course change.

JAMB explains that an institution’s recommendation must receive its approval before the status changes to admitted. If the discrepancy persists, contact the polytechnic’s admission office with your JAMB registration number and the details of your entry on the list.

Use the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu website for the institution’s official contact and portal links.
