Ummah University of Nigeria (UMUN), Abuja, is accepting admission applications for its 2026/2027 pioneer academic session. Applicants can create an account through the university’s website, select their course and entry route, complete their details, upload supporting documents and submit the application online.
The university announced the opening in its official admission notice dated 13 October 2026. An application fee and closing date could not be verified from the information reviewed.

Who Can Apply?
UMUN’s published requirements cover UTME and Direct Entry applicants.
UTME candidates must select the university as their first choice, meet its approved cut-off mark, have the appropriate subject combination and complete any required screening.
Applicants also need at least five relevant O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
Direct Entry applicants need an accepted qualification in addition to the O’Level requirements. The university lists ND, HND, NCE, IJMB, JUPEB and Cambridge A-Level among the qualifications it considers.
Confirm your course-specific eligibility before applying. The public admissions page does not give a numerical cut-off mark or a complete table of Direct Entry grades and subject combinations.

- An accessible email address and your phone number.
- Your personal details and residential address.
- Your intended course and entry route.
- Your JAMB registration number for UTME or Direct Entry.

How to Apply for Ummah University Admission
1. Create Your Applicant Account
Open the applicant registration page, enter the requested information and select Register Now.
Use an email address you can access. The portal includes email verification using a six-digit code and states that the account-verification code expires after 10 minutes.
Follow the verification instructions before continuing.
2. Select Your Course and Admission Route
In the application dashboard, begin with Course.
Choose the undergraduate application type, select your intended programme and choose the applicable entry route. For UTME and Direct Entry applications, the form requests your JAMB registration number.
The form also asks whether you require hostel accommodation. Indicating your preference should not be treated as confirmation of a hostel allocation.
3. Review Your Applicant Information
Open Applicant and check your personal details.
This section includes your names, phone number, date of birth, gender, nationality, state of origin, local government area and residential address.
The form states that your email address cannot be changed in this section, so check it carefully when creating your account.
4. Complete the Guardian Section
Under Guardian, provide the details of a parent, guardian, sponsor or next of kin.
Check the person’s contact information and your relationship to them before continuing.
5. Add Relevant Education Details
The Education section provides fields for post-secondary education and qualifications.
Add the records relevant to your application, especially if you are applying through Direct Entry. Some records are labelled optional in the form, but this does not remove the academic requirements for admission.
6. Upload Supporting Documents
Open Documents, select the appropriate document type and upload the matching file.
The portal accepts:
- PDF.
- JPEG.
- PNG.
Each file must be 5 MB or smaller. The form requires at least one supporting document before submission, but applicants should supply every document required for their entry route.
Check that each file is readable and belongs to the document category selected.
7. Review and Submit
Open Review & Submit and check your course, entry route, JAMB registration number, personal information, guardian details, qualifications and uploaded documents.
Read the declaration, acknowledge it and select Acknowledge and submit when satisfied.
The portal warns that submission is final and the application cannot be edited afterwards. Correct mistakes before submitting.
Keep a copy or screenshot of the submission confirmation and any reference provided. Check your email for confirmation, and use the dashboard to verify your application status if an email does not arrive.
How to Continue an Unfinished Application
Visit the applicant login page and sign in with your existing account.
The application is organised into six sections:
- Course.
- Applicant.
- Guardian.
- Education.
- Documents.
- Review & Submit.
Return to the relevant section, complete the remaining information and review everything before final submission.
If you forget your password, use the applicant password-recovery page with the email address attached to your account.
How Much Is the Application Form?
A verified application fee was not found in the public admission information reviewed. Do not assume the form is free simply because an amount is not displayed.
Confirm any application charge and payment instructions with the Admissions Office. Application fees, tuition and hostel charges are different payments.
Application Deadline and Screening Date
A closing date and screening timetable could not be verified from the admission notice and application information reviewed.
