About the UNILORIN Post UTME Screening
The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) was established in 1975 and is located in Ilorin, Kwara State. It is a federal university accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and consistently ranks among the top universities in Nigeria.
UNILORIN does not admit on JAMB score alone. Every candidate’s admission chances are decided by a three-part aggregate: half from the UTME or A’Level score, three-tenths from the Post UTME screening performance, and one-fifth from five relevant O’Level grades. This means your Post UTME result carries real weight — a strong screening score can still push a candidate above others who scored higher in JAMB alone.
How to Check Your UNILORIN Post UTME Result
Follow these steps to view your screening result:

⚠️ If you cannot log in or your result is not showing, do not panic. Results are released on a rolling basis by screening day, and some candidates’ results may take slightly longer to appear. Keep checking the official portal rather than relying on unverified pages or agents claiming to check results on your behalf.
What Your Post UTME Result Means
Getting a Post UTME result is not, by itself, an offer of admission. UNILORIN has been clear that the release of screening results is a separate step from the release of the admission list. Your Post UTME score simply feeds into the three-part aggregate formula the university uses to rank candidates for available spaces in their chosen programmes.
Once screening for all days is complete and results have been fully released, candidates should continue monitoring both the UNILORIN portal and their JAMB CAPS profile at caps.jamb.gov.ng for subsequent admission list announcements.

Frequently Asked Questions — UNILORIN Post UTME Result
Is the UNILORIN Post UTME result out for 2026/2027?
Yes. UNILORIN has released Post UTME results for candidates screened on Day 1 (August 13) and Day 2 (August 14) of the 2026/2027 screening exercise. Candidates screened on the final day should check the portal directly, as that batch had not been independently confirmed as released at the time of this update.
Where do I check my UNILORIN Post UTME result?
Check your result at the official portal, portal.unilorin.edu.ng, using your JAMB Registration Number as your Student ID and the password sent to your registered email.
Why can’t I see my UNILORIN Post UTME result?
Results are released in batches by screening day, so your result may simply not be published yet. Double-check that you are entering your correct JAMB Registration Number and the password sent to your email, and try again after some hours rather than using third-party “checker” sites.
Does a good Post UTME score guarantee admission at UNILORIN?
No. Your Post UTME score is only one part of a three-way aggregate — UTME/A’Level score (50%), Post UTME score (30%), and O’Level grades (20%). Admission is based on the combined aggregate and the number of available spaces in your chosen programme, not the Post UTME score alone.
What is the minimum UTME score for UNILORIN’s Post UTME screening?
UNILORIN set 180 as the minimum UTME score for eligibility to sit the 2026/2027 Post UTME screening. Competitive programmes such as Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, and Law typically require candidates to score well above this baseline to be competitive on the aggregate.
When will the UNILORIN admission list be released?
UNILORIN has not announced a date for the 2026/2027 admission list at the time of this update. The release of Post UTME results is a separate step from the admission list, and candidates should continue monitoring the official UNILORIN portal and JAMB CAPS for further announcements.
What should I do if my details are wrong on my Post UTME result?
Contact the UNILORIN admissions office directly through the official university channels to report the discrepancy. Do not attempt to resolve data errors through third-party agents or unofficial contacts.
