What This Means for Postgraduate Students
New Intakes
If you were recently admitted into UniAbuja’s postgraduate programmes, your screening window runs from February 2 to February 20, 2026. Missing this window could delay your ability to begin lectures or register for the session. Head to your department immediately.
Returning Postgraduate Students
First semester lectures are already underway as of Monday, 23rd February, 2026. Ensure your course registration is completed before lectures end on 15th May, 2026, to avoid exam-related complications.
Exam Preparation
First semester examinations span only 11 days (25th May – 5th June). Students should use the period between the end of lectures (May 15) and the start of exams (May 25) — a 10-day study window — to prepare.
Important Notice
The memo explicitly states: “This is for guidance and strict compliance, please.”
This means no deviations will be entertained by the administration. Students and staff are expected to align all academic activities — including coursework submissions, project defences, and departmental deadlines — with this calendar.
