Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has announced the release of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening form for the 2024/2025 academic session. Qualified candidates who participated in the 2024 UTME or Direct Entry are eligible to apply.
Important Dates
- Registration Period: August 15, 2024 – October 2, 2024
- Extension Notice: The screening has been extended to October 2, 2024, providing additional time for applicants who need to resolve issues related to course/institution changes or NECO tokens.
Eligibility Criteria for NSUK Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening
UTME Requirements:
- You should have scored at least 170 in the 2024 UTME.
- Law: Minimum of 200 marks.
- Community Health, Engineering Programs: Minimum of 180 marks.
- Must have selected NSUK as the first choice.
- You need to have at least five O’Level credit passes, including English and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
Direct Entry (DE) Requirements:
- A minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND) or NSUK Diploma.
- Merit in Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).
- A minimum of eight points in IJMB.
How to Apply for NSUK Post-UTME/Direct Entry Screening
Follow the steps below to apply for NSUK’s screening:
Step 1: Create an Account
- Visit the NSUK Screening Portal.
- Select the 2024/2025 Post-UTME Application.
- Create a profile using a valid email address and password.
Step 2: Make Payment
- Pay the ₦2,000 processing fee via the available payment options.
- Payment can be made online through the portal.
Step 3: Complete the Application Form
- Log in with the email and password used during account creation.
- Enter personal details, contact information, and upload the following documents:
- Passport photograph.
- SSCE result for UTME applicants.
- A’Level qualification for DE applicants.
- Ensure all data entered is accurate before submission.
Step 4: Print Required Documents
- After completing the form, print out the application summary and the payment invoice.
O’Level and A’Level Result Upload
Candidates must visit a JAMB-accredited CBT center to upload their O’Level or A’Level results to their JAMB profile. This is required for both UTME and Direct Entry candidates.
Admission Acceptance Deadline
Candidates must monitor their admission status via the JAMB CAPS portal. Admission offers must be accepted within four weeks.
Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the admission offer, and the candidate will be categorized as “refusal to accept,” making them ineligible for future admissions.
Mandatory Post-UTME Screening
Post-UTME screening is mandatory for all applicants. Candidates who fail to participate in the screening process will not be considered for admission into NSUK.
